Hartford International Group deliver and supply 40 mm cartridge rubber. The cartridge rubbers are available in three different varieties; 40 mm cartridge rubber standard, 03 baton and rubber balls.
These rubber cartridges are used specifically for non-lethal takedowns and crowd control. They are a favourite of police forces and also private military companies that have been ordered not to use lethal force. They are also ideal for situations in which both civilians and hostile targets are mixed together, such as public spaces like malls. They’re mainly used to disperse crowds and manage riots, but can also be used on more sensitive situations such as hostage rescue.
The regular cartridge rubber (CR2-1P) has an effective range of 80 to 120 m and a shelf life of 5 years. These are fired from 40 mm weapons or specialized anti-riot guns. They can be used in most situations and the longer effective range makes them an excellent choice for long-range crowd control.
The 03 baton (CR2-3P) has an effective range of 30 to 60 m and is designed to be fired from a 40mm anti-riot weapon. The shelf life is also 5 years. These have a much shorter range but pack a much higher impact force to subjugate targets.
The cartridge rubber with rubber balls (CR2-RB) is used by regular 40 mm weapons and has an effective range of 30 to 50 m. These cartridge rubbers will shoot out several smaller rubber balls and serve as a means of dispersing crowds in a quick and effective manner.
